A Message From Our Founder
Beyond my role as a leader in the travel business, I am an ardent traveler. My journey began in childhood. Living in the countryside of the Trans Altai region in the westernmost part of Mongolia with my grandparents, my early travels involved herding across mountains. As a schoolboy, I joined my dad on his business trips to other villages, further igniting my desire to explore. Each of these journeys, step by step, opened my eyes and fueled my growing passion for travel. Geography became my favorite subject at school, and dreams of circumnavigating the world took hold.
Later, I moved to Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia, located 1,800 km away from my home village, to attend university. During my university years, I worked as a guide for international tourists during summer vacations. This part-time job provided a wonderful opportunity to explore my own country—from deserts to mountains, people to culture, lifestyles to history. International travels expanded when I pursued a master's course in the UK, turning childhood dreams into reality.
Now, with constant travel within and outside my country, I continue to explore my own country, while venturing into new destinations, countries, and cultures. Advances in transportation and technology have made travel easier. Tourism boomed, and the travel industry grew with unprecedented speed. However, I believe modern-day tourism is inherently different from conventional tourism. A real traveler is a learner, adventurer, and experimenter of local culture. Traditional hop-on-hop-off style tourism, the "have been there" approach, is outdated.
Modern tourists travel not only to see but to educate themselves, not only to visit places but to learn about cultures, not only to experience but to get involved, and not only to meet people but to connect with them. They are no longer tourists; they are explorers.
