Day 1

Beauty of Terelj
Drive to Terelj National Park in the morning. After checking in at Terelj Lodge resort have an excursion to Turtle Rock and enjoy the scenery of the area, then move on to Ariyabal meditation temple, conveniently situated overlooking the beautiful green valley of the national park. Arrive back at the resort to have lunch in the spacious restaurant offering stunning view of the surrounding landscape. In the afternoon enjoy hiking. Or as an option, you can take short horse riding or yak cart driving to get more authentic experience of nomadic lifestyle. Before dinner visit Terelj Lodge ger museum to learn unique culture and traditions related to Mongolian ger. Following dinner, clients will be given a demonstration and training class for the traditional Mongolian sport of archery.

Nomadic cultural day
After breakfast visit a nomadic family and get introduced to the authentic lifestyle and culture of Mongolian nomads, try traditional dairy food. Continue adventurous experience of the national park by hiking or taking an hour long horse riding tour. After lunch at Terelj Lodge, drive back to Ulaanbaatar via Chinggis Khaan’s monument at Tsonjin Boldog.
