Altai trekking is the real adventure for everyone who wants to challenge themselves with majestic western Altai Mountains of Mongolia. You will trek though the highest snow capped mountains such as Altai Tavan Bogd, beautiful valleys, wild rivers, glaciers that feeds thousand of rivers and streams of western Mongolia. Depends on road condition trekking distance will be 15-25 km per day.

Day 1	Arrival in Mongolia Arrival in Ulaanbaatar and meet our guide and driver. Transfer to hotel and check in. In the afternoon short city tour in Ulaanbaatar city: visit Sukhbaatar Square, Chinggis Khaan monument, National Museum of Mongolian History, and visit Zaisan Memorial for Panoramic view of Ulaanbaatar. In the evening, enjoy Mongolian folklore performance. Overnight in hotel.
Day 2	Ulgii Town Early Morning, transfer to airport and take flight to Ulgii town the center of Bayan-Ulgii province. Arrive in Ulgii town and check in local hotel. After lunch, Short city tour around town, Islamic mosques, province museum and black-market. Overnight at local hotel.
Day 3	Khar Salaa River Drive to Khar Salaa River which is started from glaciers of the Altai Mountains. Khar Salaa is famous with rock painting and 5 lines of old Turkic inscriptions. The historical monuments of Khar salaa was discovered by Russian scholar Kubarev and published in 2009. Overnight at tented camping.
Day 4	Baga Oigor Site 20 km Trekking to the Baga Oigor rock painting complex form Bronze age. The site is stretched about 15 km along basin of Tsagan salaa river and exhibits more than 10 thousand pertoglyphs . Overnight at tented camping.
Day 5	Altai Tavan Bogd Mountain 20km Trekking to the Altai Tavan Bogd the highest mountain of Mongolia, which is elevated 4374 meters above sea level. Overnight at tented camping.
Day 6	Potanin Glacier 10km Trekking to the Potanin glacier which is stretched more than 20km along Tavan Bogd mountain foot. Relax at tented camping nearby glacierâ
Day 7	Altai Tavan Bogd Mountain and Glaciers Day by the Altai Tavan Bogd Mountain in order to explore Glaciers and other peaks. Overnight at tented camping.
Day 8	Bituut valley 21km Trekking to the Bituut valley, which is located 19.5 km from Altai Tavan Bogd Mountain. Overnight at tented camping.
Day 9	Baavgai Salaa valley 20km Trekking to the Baavgai salaa or bear valley. The area has beautiful natural scenery of forest, mountains and different kinds of wild berries. Overnight at tented camping.
Day 10	Tsagaan Us River 21km Trekking to the Tsagaan Us River or White Water River that comes from glaciers of High mountains. Overnight at tented camping.
Day 11	Khoton lake 28km Trekking to the Khoton lake the in the high mountains that creation by moraine and idol place for nomad’s summer camp. Visit local Kazakh families for exploring their culture and way of life. Overnight at tented camping.
Day 12	Ulgii 177km Drive to Ulgii town and relax at hotel and free time to visit local black market. Overnight at local hotel.
Day 13	Ulaanbaatar Take flight to Ulaanbaatar. Relax at the hotel.
Day 14	Departure Check out the hotel and transfer to the airport or train station. Tour ends.
